Our multiple-blue-ribbon-winning herdsire, Marzipan, is a son of SA Peruvian Black Epic and a grandson of 4Peruvian Black Magic. His dam, Majesty's Jewel, is a lovely medium rose gray girl from the P. Macusani line, and a blue-ribbon winner herself. Of course, Black Epic is one of the most be-ribboned black herdsires in the country. Marzipan took his second blue ribbon at the 2005 MaPaca Jubilee, which gives him a record of being in the top ribbons in every show he has entered. But we don't need ribbons to know that this boy is special! Although maroon, Marzipan has true black and gray genes going as deep as four generations. With his wonderful conformation, great fiber coverage, density, and character of fleece, we have high hopes that Marzipan will continue the tradition of quality set by the Rising Sons of RCF! Marz began breeding this fall and settled his first two females easily. Marzipan will only be offered for limited breeding, so be sure to include him in your list of prospects and contact us soon!
DOB: June 15, 2003 Breeding fee: $2,500 | |
